LG K30 with 5.3-inch display, fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE announced

LG has announced K30, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘K Series’ in the U.S. for T-Mobile. It has similar specifications as the LG X4+ that was introduced in Korea recently, including a 5.3-inch HD screen, Snapdragon 425 SoC , Android 7.1 (Nougat), 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 5-megapixel front camera and a fingerprint sensor on the back. iVOOMi FitMe fitness band with pollution tracking, heart rate sensor launched for Rs. 1999

Chinese smartphone maker iVOOMi has launched FitMe, a fitness band that has option to indicate Air Quality Index (AQI) or pollution, which tells you how clean or unhealthy the air around you is, so that you can take necessary steps to prevent the associated health hazards. This feature provides information on AQI across all Indian cities. The FitMe Health Band also provides information about the weather conditions. LG V35 ThinQ with 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display, 16MP dual rear cameras surface

Details about the LG V35 ThinQ, an upgraded version of the V30S ThinQ  surfaced last month, and @evleaks said that the V35 ThinQ code-named Emma will be introduced around the same time as the G7 ThinQ. Now the G7 ThinQ is official, A&T confirmed that they would not carry this phone, but will launch another phone this Summer, which will likely be the V35 ThinQ. Even the press render that has surfaced reveals the same.

Apple Watch Series 3 with built-in cellular connectivity now available for pre-order in India starting at Rs. 39080

Last month Apple announced that the Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) will be launched in India on May 11th with pre-orders starting from May 4th. Today Reliance Jio has started pre-orders for it on its website. Airtel has started pre-registrations for the new Apple Watch, and says that it the bookings will begin on May 11th. GoPro introduced Fusion, a 360-degree camera that can record 5.2K 360-spherical videos at 30Fps or 3.2K videos at 60fps back in September last year. Today the company has launched the camera in India. OnePlus 6 with 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 gets certified in China

OnePlus 6 has finally been certified by TENAA in China, couple of weeks before the announcement. We don’t have the image yet, but all the specifications of the smartphone have been listed. This is the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version, but there will also be a 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, as the company had already confirmed. Asus has silently introduced Zenfone Live L1 (ZA550KL), the company’s first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in Indonesia. It packs a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 425 with 1GB or 2GB RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition and the 2GB RAM version runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) with ZenUI 5.0. Honor 8 Pro gets Face Unlock, AR Lens, Idea VoLTE and more via OTA update in India

Global tablet shipments continue to decline, down 11.7% YoY in Q1 2018 : IDC

Global tablet market continues to decline, and in the first quarter of 2018 (1Q18), it declined 11.7% year over year with total shipments of 31.7 million units, according to the latest report from International Data Corporation (IDC). Detachable tablets like the Microsoft Surface and iPad Pro saw over 2.9% YoY growth by grabbing 15.3% share, but the traditional slate tablets continued to decline with 26.8 million unit shipments, down 13.9% from the prior year.
