Sony Xperia S gets PlayStation Store

PlayStation Store is now available for the Sony Xperia S that was announced this January at CES. The Sony Xperia S is PlayStation Certified smartphone similar to the Xperia Play. Xperia S users need to go to the Let’s start PS Store icon in the app tray and download PlayStation Store and PS Pocket apps (Enable install apps from Unknown sources from Settings > Application). HTC confirms Android 4.0 ICS update for 16 devices


HTC has confirmed the complete list of devices that would be upgraded to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). HTC confirmed the list of devices that would get the ICS update last November and added more devices to the upgrade list last month. Rumor: Nokia Windows 8 tablet with dual-core processor expected in Q4 2012

Nokia is expected to launch their first tablet that runs on Windows 8 platform around the end of 2012, according to DigiTimes. There were several rumors about Nokia launching Windows 8 tablet in mid-2012 but now more details have emerged. Nokia to shut down mobile money business


Nokia to shut down their Mobile Money business including the Nokia Money, according to a report by The Hindu. Nokia announced the Nokia Money in 2009 and launched it in partnership with YES Bank in 2010. Later they launched it with Union Bank in 2011. They launched the Nokia Money service across India in December 2011 which is said to have 2 lakh subscribers in total with 1.2 million subscribers across all 3 platforms. Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) has announced that they would use common Access Point Name (APN) for its GSM post paid and prepaid customers across Delhi and Mumbai. The Access Point Name is a configurable network identifier used by a mobile device when connecting to WAP/Web services, MMS or Internet services on GSM/3G networks.
