KeyPoint Technologies, popular for its Adaptxt Keyboard has launched Wink It, a new keyboard with emoticon and image prediction for Android smartphones. It predicts emoticons as users start typing the words and suggests multiple output options. Samsung introduced the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, TabPRO 12.2, TabPRO 10.1 and TabPRO 8.4 tablets with WQXGA (2560 x 1600) displays and Android 4.4 (Kitkat) at the CES 2014 last month. These tablets are available for pre-order from Office Depot, Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon and more retailers in the US and would go on sale on February 13th, just in time for the Valentine’s day. HARMAN India has launched two new JBL speakers, the JBL Flip 2 and the JBL Voyager. The JBL Flip 2 is a new wireless portable stereo speaker and the Voyager comes with a subwoofer docking system. Amazon launched the first Paperwhite in India back in June 2013. The New Kindle Paperwhite that was launched in India last month is now on sale in India. The 2nd generation Paperwhite that was announced back in September 2013 has a the same 6-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) display at 212 PPI pixel density and a built-in light similar to the first generation Kindle Paperwhite, but this has a new display technology with higher contrast, the next generation built-in light, a faster processor and new touch technology. Facebook introduced Paper, a social news aggregator last week that also lets you share you stories and view Facebook images. The app has gone live in the US for iPhone. It has the Facebook News Feed, similar to the Facebook app, but the UI is completely different from what you see in the Facebook app. It shows the feed in a different layout, similar to the Flipkart. Last week LG confirmed that it would launch the LG G Pro 2, successor of the LG G Pro later this month. The company did not reveal the specifications or image of the device at that time. Last week images of the G Pro 2 appeared online showing G2-like rear-mounted power button and volume keys. Today LG has confirmed that it would have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer or optical image stabilization) capabilities. LG showcased the LG G Flex, the company’s first smartphone with a curved OLED display in India at an event back in December last year and promised that it would launch in February. Now the smartphone has been listed on the official LG India website at Rs. 69,999 (MRP). The LG G Flex was announced back in October 2013 and packs a 6-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Curved Plastic OLED display that vertically concave from top to bottom to a radius of 700mm.
