LeEco Type-C CDLA earphones launched in India for Rs. 1990

LeEco USB Type-C earphones

LeEco introduced its new Type-C earphones in China back in April. Today the company has launched the earphones in India at the launch event of Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones. Both these phones use CDLA (Continual Lossless Digital Audio) technology for an enhanced audio experience and replaces 3.5mm audio jack with USB Type-C audio.

LeEco just launched Le 2, the company’s latest smartphone in the Le 2 series. It was introduced in China back in April and packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, has 3GB of RAM, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera, but the Indian version has a Snapdragon 652 SoC instead of MediaTek Helio X20 SoC in the Chinese version. ZTE has announced nubia Z11 Max, it’s latest high-end smartphone in the nubia series in China, as it had promised last month. It packs a 6-inch 1080p Super AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display with 1.32mm slim bezels on the sides, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 SoC, runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) with nubia UI, has a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Microsoft opens cyber security engagement centre in India

Microsoft today opened its Cyber Security Engagement Centre (CSEC) in Gurgaon, India to enhance cybersecurity. “This aims to drive public-private partnerships to fight cybercrime, strengthen the cooperation with Indian businesses, government and academic organizations on cybersecurity, and increase its contribution towards securing Indian computer and internet users from cybercrime threats,” said the company. LeEco entered into the Indian market earlier this year with the launch of Le 1s smartphone at a competitive price tag of Rs. 10,999 exclusively on Flipkart. Today the company has announced its foray into the offline retail space in the country with the Le 1s. It will start selling the smartphone in New Delhi and Mumbai in the first phase and will expand by opening 70% retail stores across India that contribute to mobile sales, by the end of September 2016.
