Sony has launched Xperia Z3+ smartphone in India. It was announced last month and packs a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) and is just 6.9mm thick. It has a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3″ Sony Exmor RS image sensor, BIONZ image processing engine, 4K video recording and a 5.1-megapixel 1080p front-facing camera with EXMOR R sensor. OnePlus 2 to be unveiled on July 27 at a virtual reality event

OnePlus has announced that it will unveil its second flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 2, at a virtual reality event on July 27th. This is the world’s first product launch in VR, says the company. “A VR launch lets you stand right next to our team and our fans as we unveil our new flagship. You’ll be able to look around as you check out the phone in a new way and maybe even find a few hidden Easter eggs”, said OnePlus.

Sony Xperia Z3+ global roll out begins this week

Sony unveiled the Xperia Z3+ smartphone last month. Today the company has announced that it will start rolling out the smartphone globally starting from this week. Sony recently sent out press invites for an event in India on June 26th, where the company is expected to launch the Xperia Z3+ smartphone.

It was unveiled at CES earlier this year and packs a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. Amazon Appstore is back with another free apps offer. This month it offers 21 paid Android apps and games worth over $45 for free on the Amazon AppStore starting today till July 1st.  These apps are usually priced between US$ 0.99 and US$ 11.99. Some popular apps and games include, The Bard’s Tale, Table Top Racing, AVG AntiVirus PRO Android Security and more. Last month Amazon Appstore offered 33 paid Android apps and games worth $110. The Joy 3 has a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.4 (KitKat) based on ColorOS 2.0, similar to the Oppo Neo 5 (2015) that was launched in India recently. Lenovo has finally launched the K3 Note smartphone in India, as expected. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 72% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek processor, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has dual SIM support and 4G connectivity, including support for LTE bands in India. It also features Dolby Atmos.

It was announced in China earlier this month and packs a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen, is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. It has a fingerprint sensor on the home button. It has multi-directional touch-based sensors that lets you place your finger on the sensor in any direction to unlock your phone. Lenovo Vibe S1 with 5-inch 1080p display, Android 5.0 gets certified in China

Lenovo Vibe S1, the company’s upcoming smartphone was leaked back in February, but the company did not unveil it at the MWC in March. Now the smartphone has been certified on TENAA (via) in China. According to the listing, the smartphone will come with a 5-inch 1080p display, will be powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor, run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), come with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
