HTC One E9 variant with 5.5-inch HD display gets certified in China
HTC E9st, a variant of HTC One E9 smartphone has been certified on TENAA (via) in China. Instead of a One E9’s 5.5-inch 1080p screen, this one has a 5.5-inch 720p display, but it has the same 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an ultrapixel front-facing camera, similar to the One E9. It runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Sense UI. Placement of the front and rear cameras have changed compared to the One E9. Ultimate Ears, a brand of Logitech has launched UE BOOM, its new battery-powered 360-degree wireless speaker in India. It has specially developed acoustic skin that is both water and stain resistant. You can connect two UE BOOMs together using the free UE BOOM app for Android or iOS that lets you play them in either stereo-to-stereo mode or traditional left/right stereo mode. Spectrum allocation for 2015 auction winners expected soon
The Department of Telecom (DoT) issued letters of intent (LoIs) recently to Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India, Idea Cellular, Reliance Communications and Reliance Jio Infocomm, who won spectrum in auction earlier this March, according to a report from the ET. At the end of the recent auction for 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2100 MHz spectrum, government got bids worth Rs 1.098 lakh crore. Sony launched the Xperia M4 Aqua Dual, a mid-range waterproof (IP65) and dustproof (IP68) smartphone at Rs. 24,990 last month. We brought you the hands on and unboxing recently. Here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor that has four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.46 GHz per core and other four Cortex A53 cores are clocked at 1.0 GHz per core. Microdia 512GB Xtra Elite microSDXC world’s highest capacity SD card announced
Microdia, a California-based company introduced 512GB Xtra Elite microSDXC UHS-II card at the Computex 2015 this week, which becomes the world’s highest capacity microSD card. SanDisk introduced a 200GB microSDXC UHS-I card earlier this year at the MWC. Some companies like HTC and LG says that their high-end smartphones support expandable storage up to 2TB, which is the maximum capacity a microSD can offer currently. Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo with new Exynos 7580 processor leaked
Samsung is working on Galaxy S5 Neo (SM-G903F), a new smartphone in the Galaxy S5 series, according to SamMobile. The design, including the dimensions and most of the specifications of the S5 Neo will be similar to the Galaxy S5, but this will be powered by a new 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 Octa-Core 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU.
