HUAWEI confirms sale of HONOR smartphone brand

HUAWEI has confirmed the sale of their HONOR smartphone brand to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd. jointly founded by Shenzen Smart City Technology Development Group Co. Ltd. and over 30 agents and dealers of the HONOR Brand, selling all of HONOR’s business assets and its decision-making capabilities. The move is a result of a long battle between HUAWEI and the US government, whose sanctions have been hurting HUAWEI’s business for over a year now.

Apple iPads with Mini LED displays and 3rd gen AirPods reportedly coming in first half of 2021

Popular Apple analyst, Ming Chi-Kuo has revealed in a new research note to investors that Apple will likely launch a new iPad with a mini-LED display and new AirPods 3 sometime during the first half of 2021. Apple is expected to contract Chinese manufacturer Jialianyi for its LCP (liquid crystal polymer) soft boards technology, bringing the company as part of its supply chain for various Apple products.

Google Photos announces end of free unlimited photo backups starting June 2021

For the past 5 years, Google account users have enjoyed the ability to store their photos and videos in high quality for free in Google Photos. That will not be the case anymore soon as Google has announced a change to their policy – photo and video backup will no longer be free starting June 1, 2021, and instead it will be counted against the 15GB quota that comes free with every Google account.

Samsung launches The Sero 43-inch rotating TV in India for Rs. 1,24,990
