Samsung has been rapidly expanding its M series of smartphones and recently the company launched the Galaxy M31, Galaxy M21 which are the successors of the popular Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M20 respectively. After the launch of the Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M21, Samsung has now silently introduced the Galaxy M11 which surfaced in rumors last year.

People are working from home due to the outbreak of Coronavirus and during this period, the consumption of data will be more than usual. Mobile operators and internet service providers are offering more data and speed as a result of this and on similar lines, recently, ACT Fibernet offered a free upgrade to 300Mbps speed and Unlimited FUP till March 31st. Now, Reliance Jio has also announced a prepaid ‘Work From Home’ plan and is offering double data for existing Jio Fiber users.
Update: 17th March,2020 – Samsung has announced that it is shutting down PlayGalaxy Link streaming service effective March 27th, 2020. While the exact reason is not known, Samsung has said that it is due to “internal policy changes” and is thanking users for playing and support PlayGalaxy Link throughout the beta period. Xiaomi is rapidly expanding its accessories line-up with the launch of new products like Mi Outdoor speaker, Dual-Driver wired earphones, Mi Toothbrush, and more. On similar lines, Xiaomi India has teased a new product launch on March 16th, and it is expected to a power bank with wireless charging support.
Smartphone brands have been on a launch spree lately and we have been seeing back to back smartphone launches from various brands in India. On similar lines, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has launched the Redmi Note 9 Series and this comes almost after 5 months of the launch of Redmi Note 8 Series. New press image of the phone has surfaced that shows a familiar design, thinner bezel, water drop notch, dedicated Google Assistant button and volume rockers on the left, power button on the right and a gold frame. It is expected to come with 5G support, powered by Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform, 8GB of RAM. Since there is no MWC, it could be announced as early as next week.
LG launched its new W-series smartphones last year in India with three models W10, W30 and W30 Pro. Following that, LG has now added a new model to the lineup — LG W10 Alpha and it is positioned below the W30 smartphone.
OLA revamped its app with a new user interface, safety features recently and the earlier last year, the company also acquired Pikup.ai, an artificial intelligence startup based out of Bangalore. Following that, OLA launched its new ‘Guardian’ AI-enabled safety feature in India and Australia, after rolling it out as a pilot program. On similar lines, now the company has integrated its ’emergency button’ with the police control room.
