ZTE to unveil Grand S II, BlueWatch Smartwatch and a Phablet with 5.7-inch HD display at CES 2014



ZTE has announced that it would unveil the Grand S II, the successor of Grand S that was unveiled at the CES 2013 last year. It would also launch BlueWatch, its first Smartwatch and its first phablet with a 5.7-inch HD display and dual screen functionality. It would also show off a mobile hotspot with a built-in projector and more at the event.

The ZTE Grand S II would have voice control technology for voice recognition unlocking and voice-to-phone photography says the company. It would also have triple-MIC noise reduction for more natural and clearer voice calls. but the specifications of the phone is not available yet.

Regarding the new devices at the CES 2014, Zeng Xuezhong, ZTE EVP and Head of the Mobile Devices Division, said,

ZTE would also showoff the nubia 5S and nubia 5S mini, that were launched in China as nubia Z5S and nubia Z5S mini last year. ZTE would also unveil Sonata 4G, an affordable LTE-enabled phone powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor,  1GB RAM, 5 MP camera with flash, 720p video recording, 4” display, and a 1780mAh battery.

The ZTE Phablet with a 5.7” HD screen with a Gorilla Glass protection and a quad-core processor would also debut at the CES. It has Dolby Digital Sound, wireless charging feature and has smart viewer that allows two applications to be simultaneously displayed on the screen.

The ZTE Projector Hotspot, a Wi-Fi hotspot all-in-one device for streaming and sharing visual content would be unveiled at the CES. The compact device offers 4G access for up to eight devices simultaneously. The ZTE BlueWatch, a Smartwatch has a built-in pedometer, and records and analyzes data including information like body fat percentage. It connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth, that lets you control of calls, content, photography, and social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

ZTE has partnered with AT&T to develop the AT&T Wireless Home Base device. ZTE would unveil all these devices at the International CES next week. We will bring more details about these devices soon.
