
Hisense India, popular for its consumer electronics and home appliances, has announced a strategic partnership with Sathya Agencies, one of the largest retail chains in South India. This collaboration will significantly expand the availability of Hisense products across the region.
Under this new agreement, Hisense’s extensive range of televisions, air conditioners, and upcoming product lines will now be available for purchase at all 375 Sathya showrooms. These retail outlets are spread across the key southern states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and the union territory of Puducherry.
The partnership is designed to leverage Sathya Agencies’ deep-rooted regional presence and omnichannel retail strategy, which includes a strong network of physical stores and online platforms. By joining forces, Hisense India aims to effectively tap into the rapidly growing consumer demand in South India for electronics and home appliances that feature modern technology at accessible price points.
This retail expansion is a key component of Hisense India’s broader strategy to reinforce its commitment and footprint in the Indian market. The company has also made significant investments in local manufacturing.
In a move supporting the government’s “Make in India” initiative, Hisense has partnered with EPACK Durable to establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in India. This plant is dedicated to producing air conditioners and home appliances using the brand’s proprietary technology and design expertise.
To complement its sales and manufacturing efforts, Hisense India has focused on enhancing its post-purchase customer experience. The company has entered into a crucial partnership with Reliance resQ, the service division of Reliance Retail.
This alliance ensures a robust, nationwide after-sales support system, providing service across a vast network that covers over 19,000 pin codes.
