Xiaomi just announced Mi Max 2, successor of last year’s Mi Max phablet at an event in China. It packs the same 6.44-inch 1080p 2.5D curved glass display as the predecessor, but this has 0.7mm ultra narrow bezel on the side. It is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor, has an improved 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF and dual-tone LED flash. Xiaomi launched the Redmi 4 smartphone in India starting Rs. 6999 last month. It went on sale for the first time in India today exclusively on Amazon.in and Mi.com. Xiaomi today said that it sold more than 250,000 units within 8 minutes the sale started on Amazon.in and Mi.com today noon. Xiaomi introduced new Mi TV 4 series at the CES 2017 earlier this. It has finally launched these TVs in China that come in 49-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes and have 4K panel with support for HDR. These have a 4.9mm slim frameless design and the top-end 65-inch model also comes with Dolby Atmos audio technology with 2 up-firing speakers, that are basically pointed at the ceiling which reflects the sound to provide a 3-dimensional experience. Xiaomi just launched Redmi 4 smartphone in India. Manu Kumar Jain, the VP and MD of Xiaomi India also shared some more news about its upcoming Mi Home stores in India. Jain said Xiaomi Mi Home stores will be launching in four more cities in the country – Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai.
Xiaomi today launched Mi Router 3C, its first budget router in India. It was introduced in China a few months back. It is a 802.11 b/g/n single-band router with 4 copper antennas, two to transmit and two to receive and supports upto 300Mbps transmission speed. Xiaomi just launched Redmi 4, the company’s latest budget smartphone and the successor of last year’s Redmi 3S in India. The version that has been launched in India was introduced as Redmi 4X in China earlier this year, packs a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 SoC, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Even though it runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) based MIUI 8, it is offering beta test of Android 7.0 (Nougat) out of the box. Xiaomi had launched Redmi Note 4 in India in January. The successor of Redmi Note 3 was available in Gold and Dark Gray colors initially. However, in February the Matte Black variant of the phone was made available in the country. We have got our hands on the Matte Black variant and so let’s check it out. Xiaomi has made its Mi Bluetooth Headset available for pre-order on Mi.com website ahead of Redmi 4 India launch. The Mi Bluetooth Headset is lightweight at just 6.5 grams and has a sleek design. It packs two volume rocker buttons on the right side followed by the microphone below.
