Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India last month starting Rs. 9999. Only the Gold and Dark Gray colors were available so far through flash sales on Flipkart and mi.com. Xiaomi has announced that the Black version will be available for sale for the first time on both the platform on March 1st at 12PM along with the other color variants, as it had promised. Last week a WSJ report said that Xiaomi is working on its own Pinecone processor confirming earlier rumors. They are made of Nylon polarization material and are lightweight at just 18 grams. The budget Xiaomi MAE136 has a 5-inch HD screen and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor, while the mid-range MBE6A5 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by a 2.0GHz Deca-Core processor. Xiaomi has become the second largest smartphone vendor in India in Q4 2016 with 10.7 percent market share, according to latest report from IDC. The Chinese smartphone maker also said it has sold more than three million units of Redmi 3S (includes Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime and Redmi 3S+) in less than six months.
