Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen) in global markets, offering several upgrades over the previous model introduced in India in 2023. The device features a slim, rounded design and weighs 44 grams. It is available in black.
It supports 4K resolution output and now includes Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support—an improvement over the earlier model, which lacked HDR10+. Audio enhancements include support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, with professional decoding for panoramic surround sound and virtualised height channels.
The device runs on a 6nm quad-core Cortex-A55 processor with ARM G310 V2 GPU, paired with 2GB RAM and 8GB storage. Xiaomi claims this SoC delivers an 80% increase in CPU performance and a 150% boost in GPU performance compared to the original.
It operates on Google TV and includes support for Google Assistant and Google Cast. Xiaomi TV+ is also available on the device, offering free live TV streaming without any subscription. It comes with a 360° Bluetooth voice remote. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and HDMI and Micro USB ports.
