
Xiaomi has started teasing the launch of Redmi 15, the company’s next smartphone in the Redmi number series, in India. The teaser shows the side profile of the phone, and says that it will pack a huge battery, making it last for up to 7.5 hours on standby with just 1% charge.
The Redmi 15 5G will be sold on Amazon.in, in addition to mi.com and offline stores.

Ahead of launch, the image of the phone has surfaced online revealing most of the details of the phone, including the design. This reveals 6.9-inch FHD+ 144Hz screen, Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC, 50MP rear camera along with a 2MP secondary camera, 8MP front camera, and a 7000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It will come with IP64 ratings for dust and splash resistance.
The Redmi 15 5G is listed for RM 699 (USD 165 / Rs. 14,305 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB model. We can expect 6GB + 128GB model as well. Even though NFC is mentioned, it might not be supported in some markets like India.
The official announcement is expected sometime later this week along with the Redmi 15C 5G as the successor to the Redmi 14C, and the India launch should happen in early August.
