Xiaomi just announced the REDMI Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ smartphones at an event in China, as it had promised. The phones pack a 6.83-inch 120Hz flat (Pro) / curved (Pro+) OLED display with up to 3200 nits peak brightness, and come with Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass protection.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro+ is the first phone to be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC, has Note’s first ice-sealed circulating cooling pump with a 5200mm² ultra-large area, triple the thermal conductivity to 5954mm², and a mid-frame graphite area of up to 1000mm² and features Xiaomi Pascal T1S signal enhancement chip. It has a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor along with a 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 2.5X telephoto camera.
The REDMI Note 15 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Ultra SoC, has a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor along with a 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
The phones feature IP66+IP68+IP69+IP69K dust and waterproof body, and are also resistant to high-temperature, high-pressure water jets for extended periods of time. It has 17 customized sets of airtight structural components, passed the combined waterproof and durable test, obtained TÜV SÜD five-star long-term waterproof quality certification, and supports wet touch 2.0, says Xiaomi.
These feature ultra-tough fiberglass back panel for increased durability and impact resistance, and has passed the 2-meter, 50-times drop test on granite, received the Gold Label Five-Star dual certification, meaning it can withstand repeated drops and is truly drop-resistant. The phones have 1115mm symmetrical dual speakers with 400% loudspeaker volume, a for Xiaomi.
The phones pack a 7000mAh battery with 90W (15 Pro+) / 45W (15 Pro) fast charging, and 22.5W reverse charging. There is also a REDMI Note 15 Pro+ Satellite Messaging Edition, the first REDMI phone to feature Beidou satellite messaging. This version supports sending emergency text messages without a network connection.
