Samsung Galaxy S8 tipped to come in two models, one with 6.2-inch bezel-less display

More details about the Samsung Galaxy S8 have surfaced and this time they are from the popular tipster Evan Blass aka evleaks. According to Blass, Samsung will make two versions of the Galaxy S8 smartphone, one with a 6.2-inch screen and other with a 5.7-inch screen.

Samsung launched the Galaxy On Nxt, an upgraded version ofGalaxy J7 Prime in India exclusively on Flipkart for Rs. 18,490 recently. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks. The Galaxy On Nxt is powered by Exynos 7 Octa 7870 processor based on 14-nanometer (nm) FinFET process. It has eight ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.59GHz per core and has Mali-T830 GPU. It has 3GB of RAM, has 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). Check out the synthetic benchmark scores. Android 7.0 Nougat beta testing will begin on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge to from November 9. Last year Samsung had offered a similar beta program for Marshamallow on Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro Battery Life Test

Samsung launched the Galaxy A9 Pro (SM-A9100) in India in September for Rs. 32,490. We recently brought you the review of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results of the phone. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for adaptive fast charging using the bundled charger (9V-1.67A / 5V-2A). Samsung says that the bundled charger can charge the battery from 0 to 100% in 160 minutes, and up to 32% in just 30 minutes. Check out the test results below.

Samsung recall about 2.8 million washing machines for risk of explosion

On the back of the Galaxy Note 7 explosion saga, the company’s washing machines are in the news for the very same reason. Samsung Electronics and the product safety officials in the United States have announced a recall of about 2.8 million washing machines.

The latest recall is another dent in the South Korean manufacturer’s reputation. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the top of the washing machine could detach during the use, which of course is a big risk for consumer safety. Samsung has announced W2017 (SM-W2017), the company’s latest premium flip phone in China, which is the successor of the W2016 that was introduced last year. It packs dual 4.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED displays, so that you can use the phone even when it’s closed. You can flip open to use the other screen with a keyboard.
