realme GT 6T with 120Hz LTPO display, Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, Dual VC Cooling, 5500mAh battery launching in India on May 22

Update – May 16: realme has confirmed that the GT 6T will feature the world’s brightest display with up to 6000 nits peak brightness.

The screen features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 Victus protection, and the LTPO panel promises smooth, energy-efficient visuals. Additional features like eye-strain reduction further enhance the viewing experience in low-light conditions.

Update – May 15: realme has confirmed that the GT 6T will feature Industry’s first largest dual VC. The 9-layer cooling system in the realme GT 6T features a large, 10014mm² 3D tempered dual VC, which greatly improves the cooling efficiency, says realme.

This, combined with a glass back cover, promises to maintain lower temperatures and minimizes heat perception.

Additionally, the side full partition cooling design focuses on optimizing the user’s grip experience by delving into the thermal and sensory domains. The cooling system consists of various components: a 10870mm² large copper foil above the screen, a 7075mm² superconductive graphite in the screen compartment, a 10000mm² dual Stainless Steel Vapor Chamber, cooling gel, a 1420mm² mainboard top graphite copper foil, the PCB, a 800mm² bottom copper foil, a 5300mm² press plate support graphite, and an AL metal support.

This extensive cooling area ensures full coverage of the core heat sources, effectively maintaining the phone’s temperature at a comfortable level. It maintains high performance over extended periods, promising the best gaming experience without experiencing overheating issues.

Update – May 14: realme has confirmed that the GT 6T will pack 5500 mAh battery, and superfast 120W SUPERVOOC charging that can charge the phone up to 50% in just 10 minutes, providing enough power for a full day’s use.

The 120W Gallium Nitride charger is compact and designed for efficient heat management, making it easy to carry around, said the company.

The realme GT 6T uses a Dual-cell Battery Architecture that incorporates two 2750mAh cells connected in series, providing a combined capacity equivalent to a 5500mAh battery. This unique setup allows for the doubling of charging power while keeping the current consistent, said the company.

Update – May 13: realme has confirmed the launch of realme GT 6T smartphone in India on May 22nd. The company said that the phone has a Premium Nano Mirror Design.

Earlier: After teasers, realme has confirmed the launch of realme GT 6T as its phone for its comeback in India after 2 years. The phone will be powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, making it the first phone in the country with the chip, confirmed the company.

The company says that it has scored 1.5 million points on AnTuTu benchmark, offering peak gaming performance. It also highlights top cooling performance with a large VC cooling, and a large battery with top charging.

Looking at the design of the phone with minimal bezels, and the silver colour in the teaser, this looks like a rebranded version of the realme GT Neo6 SE that was launched in China last month, for the global market.

If this is true, then we can expect 6.78″ 1.5K 120Hz LTPO screen, 50MP + 8MP dual rear cameras, 32MP front camera and a 5500mAh battery with 100W fast charging.

realme already confirmed that the phone will launch in India this May, and we should know more details about the phone including the exact launch date in the coming days. The phone will be sold on Amazon.in, in addition to realme.com after the launch.
