Xiaomi unveiled 16000mAh power bank, larger than its 10400mAh power bank that was launched in India last year. We managed to get one from China since it is not available in India. It has anodised aluminium finish on the outside, similar to the other Mi Power Banks. It is compact, even though it packs 16000mAh battery, but weighs 350 grams. Bug causes iOS devices to go into an endless boot cycle

A bug in iOS 8 allows other users to send apps that in some cases causes your iPhone or iPad to go into an endless boot cycle. This flaw was demonstrated by researches working for Skycure, who demoed the attack on Tuesday.

Asus Zenfone 2 USB OTG and Miracast Demo

We unboxed the Zenfone 2 ZE500C, showed off the Zen UI based on Android Lollipop and gameplay demo recently. The Zenfone 2 ZE500CL has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor.  The smartphone has Miracast screen mirroring support and also supports USB OTG. Here is a demo video that shows both these features.

The Zenfone 2 which was announced at CES 2015 earlier this year looks to capitalize on the success of the Zenfone with some improvements and different versions. We got our hands on the ZenFone 2 ZE500CL version, which is the entry level version of the device which has gone on sale in Taiwan and Europe.
