Global tablet market declined 4% in Q2, 2015, compared to the previous quarter with shipments totaling 44.7 million units, as per a latest from the International Data Corporation (IDC) Worldwide Quarterly Tablet Tracker.
Aside from the numerous smartphone announcements, InFocus have also announced a new 2-in-1 tablet. While we don’t have the name of the tablet yet, the tablet will be launched later this year in India.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab E (SM-T561) in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 16,900. We brought you the unboxing of the tablet recently, here we have the benchmarks. It powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7730) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A7 CPUs clocked at 1.3 GHz per core and Mali-400 GPU. It has 1.5GB RAM, 9.6-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) WXGA TFT 16:10 display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung’s own UI on top. These come in 8-inch and 9.7-inch variants and pack Super AMOLED displays at QXGA resolution, are powered by a Octa-Core Exynos SoCs and run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop).
