iBall has launched Slide O900-C, the company’s latest tablet in the Slide series. It has a 7.85-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) 4:3 IPS display, is powered by an Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab E (SM-T561) in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 16,900. We brought you the unboxing of the tablet recently, here we have the benchmarks. It powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7730) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A7 CPUs clocked at 1.3 GHz per core and Mali-400 GPU. It has 1.5GB RAM, 9.6-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) WXGA TFT 16:10 display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung’s own UI on top. Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab S2, successor of last year’s Galaxy Tab S series. These come in 8-inch and 9.7-inch variants and pack Super AMOLED displays at QXGA resolution, are powered by a Octa-Core Exynos SoCs and run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). These have a 8-megapixel rear camera without LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. These are just 5.6mm thick, making it the world’s thinnest tablets currently.
