Flipboard for Windows Phone that was released as private beta last month is now available for all the Windows Phone 8.1 users with at least 1GB of RAM. Flipboard for Windows Phone was announced last year, and it took more than year to release. The design is similar to other platforms, it lets you subscribe to different sources of curated content including social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Asus Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 Android 4.4 KitKat update starts rolling out

Asus has announced that it has started rolling out Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the ZenFone 4 (A400CG), ZenFone 5 (A500/A501CG) and ZenFone 6 (A600/A601CG) smartphones. In India the update is now rolling out for the Zenfone 4 (A400CG) smartphone. The Zenfone 4 (A450CG) that went on sale in India recently runs on Android KitKat out of the box. The KitKat update the entire Zenfone series is available in China, Taiwan and other countries. Motorola FM Radio updated with Bluetooth listening, notification and lock screen controls

Motorola has updated its FM Radio app to version 01.10.0060 that brings support for Bluetooth listening when your Motorola smartphone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or a speaker. Since Motorola smartphones doesn’t come with an internal antenna for FM, your headset acts as the antenna for FM, so it must be plugged in even if you are listening to FM via Bluetooth. Once paired, you can press the cast button to play FM over Bluetooth.

New Moto G gets a new software update, makes Google Now Launcher default

Motorola launched the new Moto G (2nd Gen) in India earlier this month running on the latest Android 4.4.4 (KitKat). Motorola has pushed out a minor software update for the smartphone in several countries, including India. Today the company has announced that it would offer 27 paid Android apps worth over $135 for free on the Amazon AppStore starting Thursday, 25th September to Saturday, 27th September 2014.. Last month the company offered 29 apps worth $100 for free for two days. This time the list is new, that includes Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II , OfficeSuite Professional 7,  Swype Keyboard and more. Gameloft has released Asphalt Overdrive, the company’s first spinoff in the Asphalt series for Android, iPhone and iPad. The Windows Phone version is expected to release soon. This is an endless racer and has portrait orientation, similar to other arcade games from Gameloft.. It brings new control schemes that lets you swipe to change the lanes. Microsoft has updated the Skype app for iPhone to version 5.5 that brings support for interactive notifications for the users running the new iOS 8. The interactive notifications lets you answer voice and videos calls and open text in skype directly from the lock screen and the notification center. You can swipe left from the lock screen to reveal the notification options and swipe down from the notification center to reveal these options. ICICI Bank has launched four new mobile apps for Android and iOS platforms. These apps include, ICICI Store, Insta Banking, Video Banking and mPassbook. These would let you initiate a transaction before visiting a branch, connect with a service executive over video call and view their transactions over the last 30 days on mobile phones. Pebble, the popular E-ink Smartwatch has received a major update to version 2.5 that finally brings support for emojis, so if you receive an emoji in a message, your Pebble smartwatch will display it perfectly. The update also adds compass support that would let you access apps with compass and wayfinding features, introduces iOS 8 compatibility and lets you dismiss an alert from your Pebble, so that it will clear it from iOS Notification Center as well. Amazon has updated its Kindle app for iPhone and iPad to version 4.5 that brings several new features including a new Kindle Today Widget for iOS 8 users that makes reading multiple books easier.The update also brings ability to copy passages from books and paste into text messages, e-mail or other apps, new convenient translation feature, iOS 8 support, bug fixes, and stability improvements.
