Nokia X2 Android smartphone with dual-core Snapdragon 200 SoC, home button reportedly in the works

Nokia X, the company’s first Android smartphone based on Android Open Source Project (AOSP) was launched in India back in March. Nokia X+ and the Nokia XL were launched in India earlier this week. A render of the upcoming Nokia X2 smartphone has surfaced on a Chinese website along with AnTuTu scores that reveals that is has a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 (MSM 8210) processor. All the X series devices are powered by 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 play (MSM8225) SoC. Twitter reportedly planning to acquire SoundCloud

Twitter is trying to renter the music business with its latest acquisition plans. The micro blogging company’s attempt to venture into music failed miserably with Twitter Music which was killed mere one year after its launch. Now, Twitter is apparently trying to find its way back by acquiring audio sharing company SoundCloud, according to Re/code.

Motorola Moto 360 reportedly launching in July for 249 Euros

Motorola unveiled the Moto 360, it’s first Android Wear-powered Smartwatch back in March. It revealed few details at the launch, later Jim Wicks, Lead Designer of the Moto 360 detailed more features of the smartwatch in a live Hangout in late March. According to a French site Le Journal du Geek, Motorola would launch the Moto 360 in early July for 249 Euros (Rs. 20,000 approx). Facebook reportedly developing video chat tool Slingshot to compete with Snapchat

Facebook is planning to take on popular ephemeral messaging app Snapchat by developing its own video and photo messaging app. According to the Financial Times, the social network is calling the app Slingshot that will let user share videos and photos that are self destructing.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, Galaxy S5 Google Play edition pass Bluetooth certification

Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime (SM-G906L) has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website and seems to have passed the Bluetooth certification. The Korean variant of the Galaxy S5 Prime (SM-G906K) appeared briefly on the official Korean website recently and another variant, SM-G906S appeared on a Hong Kong retail site few days back. After Red and Pink HTC One M8 @evleaks has leaked the HTC One M8 in Blue. HTC released the One M8 in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold colors initially and @evleaks revealed that the phone would come in Red, Pink and Blue colors soon. Now the Korean variant of the phone appeared on KT’s official olleh website briefly before it was pulled. According to recent leaks the Galaxy S5 prime would feature a 5.2-inch (2560 × 1440 pixels) WQHD AMOLED display that Samsung reportedly started producing few months back. Apple iPhone 6, successor of the iPhone 5s has been rumored for a long time now. Recently alleged design schematic of the upcoming iPhone 6 surfaced, including the dimensions. Now alleged dummy model of the iPhone 6 has surfaced online, compared with the iPhone 5s. According to the rumor the thickness of the iPhone 6 would be somewhere between 6.7 and 7.1 mm, and not 6.1mm thick as rumored earlier. Samsung Galaxy S5 Active leaked via FCC documents, comes with Galaxy S5 Specifications

Samsung has almost made it a trend of announcing a flagship early in the year and then deriving various other products from it. Last year, Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 and then followed it up with a Galaxy S4 mini and a Galaxy S4 Active variant that was water and dust resistant. And from the look of things, it seems that Samsung will continue to follow the trend in 2014.

Live image of White colored Moto E (XT1022) showed up few hours back, now the press shots of the phone has surfaced on a brazilian retail site. The image shows the Moto E (XT1025) in black that has built-in digital TV as rumored earlier. Motorola Moto E has been spotted in a live image for the first time, less than a week ahead of launch. Posing next to the Moto G, the Moto E looks a bit smaller, but has larger bezels compared to Moto G. It also has a speaker grill on the bottom and a Motorola logo on the top.
