EU passes law to mandate USB-C chargers for mobile devices by 2024

Following a resounding vote in favour of eliminating alternate charging techniques by members of the European Parliament, a standard charger for mobile devices will be adopted in 2024. All small and medium-sized portable electronics must have USB-C charging ports by the end of 2024 in order to be marketed in the EU. This includes mobile devices including smartphones and tablets, cameras, headphones, and portable gaming systems. WhatsApp rolls out Screenshot blocking, Group Polls in beta

Reliance and Sanmina complete deal to set up electronics manufacturing hub in India

Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited (RSBVL), the largest private sector firm in India and a leading provider of integrated manufacturing solutions, and Sanmina Corporation today announced that the joint venture transaction that was announced back in March has been finalized. The total enterprise valuation of the deal is about Rs. 3,300 crore.

Twitter Blue subscribers are getting tweet editing feature

For the past month, Twitter has been doing internal testing on a feature that would allow users to edit tweets; as of today, that feature is available to the public. Australian, Canadian, and New Zealand users of Twitter Blue can already edit their tweets.
