OnePlus Buds Pro 2 specs surface: LHDC 4.0, 45db ANC and more

OnePlus introduced the Buds Pro, the company’s premium ANC TWS earbuds, in August last year. Now the specifications of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 have surfaced, thanks to @OnLeaks. The new Buds Pro model is said to feature 11mm and 6mm dual audio drivers, similar to the OPPO Enco X2.

Compared to 40db noise cancellation, this is said to feature 45db of adaptive active noise cancellation that will intelligently produce noise-canceling counter frequencies to block out noise with triple microphones. Bluetooth 5.2 and LHDC 4.0 codec are expected.

We can expect 9 hours of playback compared to 7 hours in the predecessor, however the total playback with the case is said to be 38 hours, similar to the Buds Pro without ANC. With ANC, we can expect 6 hours of standalone battery life, compared to 5 hours and 22 hours of total battery life, which is less compared to 28 hours in the predecessor. This might be due to improved ANC and Hi-res audio codec.

It is expected to come with Warp charge offering 10 hours of battery life with a 10-minute charge and support for Qi-wireless charging, same as the Buds Pro.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is said to come in Black, White and new Green colour. We can expect it to launch sometime this Q4 2022.
