Dell Technologies has announced the PowerEdge XE8812, a new addition to the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA portfolio designed for high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads. Built on NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL4 architecture, the platform supports up to 144 GPUs per rack and targets organizations running large-scale AI training, inference, engineering simulations, and scientific computing workloads. Samsung plans 2nm chips for 2025, 1.4nm process tech in 2027

At its annual Samsung Foundry Forum, which took place today, Samsung Electronics showed off a new business plan for its Foundry Business that uses cutting-edge technology to make it stronger. With growth in HPC, AI, 5/6G connectivity, and automotive applications, demand for advanced semiconductors has skyrocketed, making innovation in semiconductor process technology crucial to foundry clients’ commercial success.
