Microsoft’s Surface mini reportedly uses a Qualcomm processor
Microsoft is all set to unveil the Surface mini, a 8 inch Windows tablet at an event in New York City on the 20th of May. It is just 13 more days until the announcement, and we don’t even know how it looks, but are finally starting to see some bits and pieces of information floating around the internet. Bloomberg’s Dina Bass reports that the Surface Mini will come with a Qualcomm processor, unlike its bigger brothers Surface RT and Surface 2, which run on rival Nvidia’s chips. Nokia was the only other OEM to come out with a ARM based Windows tablet in 2013, which coincidentally ran on the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

Mobistar tests 200 Mbps 4G LTE-A service in Belgium

Belgian operator Mobistar has announced that they have successfully finished testing its LTE-Advanced or 4G+ network in Mechelen. This uses a combination of 1,800 and 800 MHz 4G frequencies to allow a more efficient use of the spectrum higher speeds and a better coverage inside buildings. Samsung Gear 2 Solo standalone smartwatch appears on India import website

Samsung filed for Samsung Gear Solo and Samsung Gear Now trademarks last month. Samsung Gear 2 Solo (SM-R710) has appeared on India import/export website Zauba. Only one unit of the smartwatch has been imported from Korea to Bangalore for R&D purposes. The price of the smartwatch is mentioned as Rs. 12,292. This listing was first spotted by MakTechBlog.

After the Harman Kardon edition of the HTC One (M8) with bundled Harman AE-S earbuds, the company has unveiled Limited Edition Captain America S.H.I.E.L.D. HTC One M8 in the U.S. This comes in Gunmetal Gray like the original M8 and has a numbered S.H.I.E.L.D. etching on the back. Microsoft which recently renamed its cloud storage service as OneDrive has updated the Android app with several features. The latest 2.5 version of the app allows users to share files by inviting people, sending a link, or you can even send files to another app.
Google updates Maps on Android and iOS with new features
Google has pumped up more power into its mobile apps on Android and iOS. For starters, the company has added support to save maps for offline viewing. Users can now save and even name multiple maps by signing in through Gmail account and access them later when in need.

Xolo Q1010i Camera Samples
When Xolo introduced Q1010 in February, it was just another MediaTek powered smartphone in the mid-range category. To make it stand out from the crowd of the smartphones in the price range, Xolo equipped the Xolo Q1010 with a Sony EXMOR R sensor for its rear camera and released an slightly updated version as the Xolo Q1010i.

More LG G3 images surface, reveals fingerprint-proof back cover and removable battery

LG G3 was spotted in live images and press renders recently. Today @evleaks has posted two images of the phone. One image shows the close up of the phone’s back at an angle that looks like brushed metal finish. Images that were leaked recently revealed the phone in white with plastic back. According to @evleaks the back would not attract any fingerprints. It is not clear if the back would have self repairing technology like the G Flex. Iran bans Whatsapp, cites “Zionist” Zuckerberg as the reason
