Samsung Galaxy A8 got certified on TENAA last month and it even appeared in a live hands-on video earlier this week. It was recently revealed in a brochure that confirms the 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 5.9mm thickness and a 16-megapixel rear camera. According to the brochure the camera has f/1.9 aperture and the smartphone is powered by a Octa-Core Exynos 5430 SoC. It weighs just 139 grams and has a built-in battery that promises up to 8 hours of music playback. It also offers voice prompt alerts.

Lava has released Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for its Iris Alfa smartphone, months after it rolled out the update for the Iris Fuel 50 smartphone. It was launched back in January earlier this year running Android 4.4 (KitKat). To remind you, the Iris Alfa has a 5-inch FWVGA IPS Full Lamination display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory with expansion slot and a 2200mAh battery. ZTE Blade Qlux 4G Benchmarks

ZTE launched the Blade Qlux 4G last month for Rs. 4,999. We brought you the unboxing of the smartphone recently, here we have its benchmarks. It is powered by a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6732M processor with four ARM Cortex A53 CPUs clocked at 1.29GHz per core and has ARM Mali-T760 GPU. The CPU-Z doesn’t detect the SoC properly and says it’s MT6752. It has 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Check out the synthetic benchmark scores. Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Rohtak, Haryana

Airtel has launched their 4G LTE services in Rohtak in Haryana, followed by the launch in Hisar, Karnal, Yamunanagar and Ambala last month. Airtel acquired 100% stake in Qualcomm AP’s India BWA licenses in Delhi, Mumbai, Haryana and Kerala circles last year.
