Indian brand boAt popular for its personal audio products today announced that it has raised approximately $100 million (over Rs. 731 crore) from an affiliate of Warburg Pincus, a leading global private equity fund focused on growth investing. This comes after it raised $60 million (Rs. 440 crore) funding from South Lake Investment. Post-money valuation of boAt is estimated at over $300 million (over Rs. 2192 crore). Qualcomm today announced that Cristiano Amon will be the next CEO of Qualcomm unanimously selected by the Board of Directors. Amon, who has worked at Qualcomm since 1995, is currently President of the Company. Amon will succeed Mollenkopf effective June 30, 2021 after he retires as CEO following 26 years with Qualcomm. Google is reportedly working on a new smart home gadget that will support multiple wireless standards.
