Xiaomi usually offers limited number of units for the Flipkart First subscribers, before the smartphone goes on sale for the first time on Flipkart. Today, Xiaomi and Flipkart have announced that the first 2500 Flipkart First subscribers who register to buy the Mi 4, will get the smartphone added to their cart automatically when it goes on sale on February 10th. Airtel partners with Nokia Networks for FDD-LTE deployment in 6 circles in India

Airtel has partnered with Nokia Networks to deploy FDD-LTE on 1800 MHz in six new (Mumbai, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab and West Bengal) circles across India, as expected. Last year Nokia Networks grabbed a 3G contract from Bharti Airtel that included India-first dual band, dual carrier 3G network implementation. Dropbox buys design collaboration platform Pixelapse

Dropbox has bought Pixelapse, a startup building collaboration tool for designers, for an undisclosed amount. Founded in 2011, Pixelapse will work towards integrating its service into Dropbox over the next year.

Xiaomi just launched the Mi 4 smartphone in India, as expected. It was announced back in July last year, packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with 441 PPI, based one-glass solution (OGS), is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on MIUI 6 on top of Android 4.4 (KitKat). Apple reports record $74.6 billion revenue in FY Q1 2015, record 74.5 million iPhones sold

Apple has reported all-time record revenue of $74.6 billion with a record net profit of $18 billion in their earnings for the financial year Q1 2015 that ended December 27, 2014. Revenues were up 30% and earnings up 38% year-over-year. The international sales in this quarter is 65% of the quarter’s revenue, up 5% up compared to last quarter. Apple sold a record 74.5 million iPhones, compared to 23.4 million over last year, representing 46% growth, 21.4 million iPads, compared to 26 million year-over-year and 5.5 million Macs during the quarter.
