Customers will not be able to shop from Myntra’s website as the fashion portal is shutting down its website on May 1st, as per a report from The Economic Times. Myntra will now be a mobile app retailer and allow purchase only from its dedicated mobile app.

Sharp looking forward to spin off its smartphone LCD panel division

Sharp is planning to spin off its smartphone LCD panel unit owing to financial downslide. The Tokyo based company is seeking help from government-supported Innovation Network Corp. of Japan to invest in its small and medium LCD unit, sources told The Wall Street Journal and Reuters.

Now its  official partner Snapdeal has listed the Infocus M330, a mid-range smartphone with a 5.5-inch HD display and an Octa-Core MediaTek processor. Gionee has launched the Elife S7, the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the S series. It was announced at the MWC last month and packs a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Amigo 3.0 UI on top. Even the back is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is 5.5mm thick and has aircraft grade Al-Mg alloy frame.

It was announced at the CES earlier this year and packs a  5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz per core and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. It adopts the Desire 820’s design and even has dual front-facing stereo HTC BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. It comes with dual SIM support and has 4G connectivity. LG Display  has introduced a 5.5-inch QHD (Quad High Definition) IPS display panel for mobile devices. LG display has confirmed that the new Quad HD LCD panel will be unveiled with the forthcoming LG’s flagship smartphone to be launched at the end of the month. It is clear that the LG G4 scheduled to be unveiled on April 28th will use this display. Even the LG G3 used a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, but this will offer richer and more accurate colors with a 120 percent color gamut, compared to the 100 percent gamut that was present in the LG G3’s display , says LG Display. Lumia 640 Dual SIM, Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM and Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual SIM are listed on the official Microsoft India website, so we can expect all these smartphones to launch next week. These smartphones were announced at the MWC last month.
