LG Display today announced the world’s first 5.7-inch QHD+ LCD panel with a 18:9 aspect ratio. However, the company has not released an image of the panel, like they usually do. LG says that it has developed this display with 18:9 aspect ratio to provide more immersive viewing experiences and due to consumer demands for bigger screens. “18:9 aspect ratio is also optimized for multi-tasking, using dual-screen functions,” says LG. Apple to meet government officials on Jan. 25 to discuss iPhone manufacturing in India

It was reported last month that Apple is expected to start assembling iPhones in India by April 2017. Now according to a latest PTI report Apple team will meet a group of senior officials from IT and finance ministries on January 25 to discuss its demands for setting up a manufacturing unit in the country. The iPhone maker is said to also seek some incentives.

Mercedes Benz, Nvidia team up to bring AI-powered car

Mercedes Benz has partnered with Nvidia to make Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered car. The two companies have been working together for about three years and revealed the partnership at CES 2017. According to Mercedes-Benz President of Digital Vehicle and Mobility Sajjad Khan, the AI-powered car will be released within 12 months.

Samsung Gear S3, Gear S2 and Gear Fit2 now compatible with iPhone

The first Samsung Gear smartwatch was compatible only with select Samsung smartphones, later with the Gear S2 in 2015, Samsung released the Gear Manager app for all other Android smartphones running Android 4.4 and later. Now Samsung has finally released its Gear S and Gear Fit apps for iOS, so now the Gear S3, Gear S2 and Gear Fit2 wearable devices are now compatible with iPhone.
