Samsung has launched the Gear S running Tizen-based wearable OS. It was unveiled back in August and has a built-in SIM card slot that lets you independently make and receive calls, without connecting to a device and also offers 3G support. You can also get calls forwarded from your smartphone if it’s connected. It has a 2-inch (360 x 480 pixels) curved Super AMOLED display, larger than the Gear 2 and has a more powerful 1GHz dual-core processor. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launched in India for Rs. 58300
Samsung has launched the Galaxy Note 4, the company’s latest flagship Note series smartphone in India as expected. It was unveiled at IFA last month and packs a 5.7-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with Adreno 420 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new Samsung UI. Instead of Exynos variant for its earlier smartphones including last year’s Note 3, Samsung has launched the Snapdragon variant in India. It has a new back cover and a metal frame. Apple has announced that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus would launch in India, China and Monaco on October 17th. It would roll out in Israel on October 23rd, Czech Republic, French West Indies, Greenland, Malta, Poland, Reunion Island and South Africa on October 24th, Bahrain and Kuwait on October 30th, Albania, Bosnia, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Iceland, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macau, Macedonia, Mexico, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, South Korea, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Thailand on October 31st. Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Note 4 in India tomorrow, October 14th, and the smartphone would be available for purchase from stores across the country starting October 17th. The Galaxy Note 4 was unveiled at IFA last month and packs a 5.7-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 2.7 quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor or Octa-Core Exynos processor with four Cortex-A57 clocked at 1.9GHz and four Cortex-A53 running at 1.3GHz, Mali-T760 GPU and 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new Samsung UI. Official IRCTC app released for Android
IRCTC has finally launched the official app for Android called IRCTC Connect. Last year IRCTC app was launched for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 devices developed in partnership with Microsoft and it was launched by BlackBerry for BlackBerry 10 smartphones back in August.
