Coolpad has scheduled an event on November 30th to launch two new smartphones, Mega 3 and Note 3S in the country. The Coolpad mega 3 is expected to be a budget smartphone, while the Note 3S could be the successor of Note 3 that was launched last year. The company launched the Note 3 Plus smartphone back in May, and it recently launched the Mega 2.5D smartphone with 3GB RAM at a competitive price of Rs. 6,999.
OnePlus already announced that it will launch its flagship OnePlus 3T smartphone in India on December 2nd. Xiaomi India today announced that it has sold over 2 million smartphones in the country in the third quarter of 2016 for the first time. This is over 150% growth compared to the same quarter (Q3 2015) last year, said the company. Last week the company said that it had sold 1 million units of Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime smartphones in just 3 months after launch in India on Flipkart. Vodafone today announced that its 8.4 million plus M-Pesa customers can withdraw cash using their digital wallet from any of the over 120,000 Vodafone M-Pesa outlets across the country, subject to availability.
