Micromax today has launched the Bharat 5 smartphone just as it had promised. It is the latest budget segment device in the Bharat series, it sports a 5.2-inches HD display, 1GB RAM, and a massive 5000mAh battery. 

The Bharat 5 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and has 5-megapixel rear and front cameras. Micromax has partnered with Vodafone to offer 50GB data for those who purchase Bharat 5. For the existing and new customers for Vodafone who buys Bharat 5 and 1GB data will get additional 10GB every month for 5 months.

The Micromax Bharat 5 is priced at Rs. 5,555 and will be available across India via offline retail stores. Micromax is aiming to sell over 6 Million Bharat units by March 2018 and has also mentioned that it will launch Bharat 5 Pro and Bharat 5 Plus in the next two months.
