Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 6 Pro the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Redmi series, as it had promised. It packs a 5.84-inch FHD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch, is powered by Snapdragon 625 with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9 on top, has a 12-megapixel rear camera with flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for AI portraits and AI scene detection. OPPO’s sub-brand Realme launched the Realme 2, the company’s second-generation smartphone in India last week starting at Rs. 8990. It went on sale for the first time on Flipkart at 12PM today. The company has confirmed that it sold 200,000 or 2 lakh units of smartphones in just 5 minutes. Next sale is scheduled for 11th September, which is next Tuesday. Xiaomi already confirmed that it will launch three new smartphones in the Redmi 6 series in India on September 5th. Now Amazon.in has confirmed that the phones will be available exclusively with them. The teaser shows only two phones, one with a notch and the other without it, so the third phone could be exclusive to Flipkart.
