Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 with 13.5″ / 15″ PixelSense display, 11th Gen Intel Core / AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors launched in India

Microsoft has launched the Surface Laptop 4 in India after it was introduced last month. It comes in two sizes – 13.5-inch and 15-inch. Both these come with 11th Generation Intel Core processor up to Core i7 with Intel’s latest Iris Xe graphics and AMD Ryzen 7 4000 series with AMD Radeon Graphics, up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 512GB of SSD storage, tone-on-tone Alcantara and machined aluminum all-metal finish. boAt Rockerz 330 with up to 30 hours battery life, fast charge launched at an introductory price of Rs. 1299

After the Rockerz 335 last year and Rockerz 255 Pro+ earlier this year, boAt has launched new Rockerz 330, the company’s latest neckband wireless headset after a lot of teasers. It features Bluetooth v5.0, 10mm dynamic drivers, which the company says is fine-tuned with boAt’s Signature Sound and enhanced bass. Airtel deploys additional 11.2 Mhz spectrum in 1800 MHz band in Karnataka to enhance network coverage

After Tamil Nadu, Airtel today announced that it has also upgraded its mobile network in Karnataka by deploying an additional 11.2 Mhz spectrum in the 1800 Mhz band along with advance network software tools across its network in Karnataka to significantly bolster high speed data capacity. This will enable improved network availability and data speeds along with better coverage inside homes and buildings in cities and urban areas, said the company. Infinix India extends smartphone warranty by 2-months if they expire before June 15th

In light of the recent lockdown and the surge of COVID-19 cases across the country, Infinix has announced that they will be extended the warranty of eligible smartphones by 60 days. This extension will apply to smartphones who have their warranties expiring between April 15 and June 15.

Today it has confirmed the launch of new 40-inch model in the country on June 1st. The company has confirmed Horizon Display with bezel-less design and the image matches it. OnePlus has launched its new OnePlus series Y1 40″ Full HD TV in India. Similar to the older model this has 93% DCI-P2 Color Gamut and gamma engine, which the company calls OnePlus Cinematic Display, runs Android TV 9.0 with built-in Chromecast, has Google Play and Google Assistant. The company says that it has a bezel-less design offering a captivating picture quality and maximized display space and an impressive screen-to-body ratio at over 93%. Airtel adds additional 5MHz spectrum in 1800MHz band in Tamil Nadu to enhance network coverage

Airtel, one of India’s largest cellular network companies, has announced an upgrade to its Tamil Nadu network with the addition of 5MHz in the 1800 MHz band. This brings Airtel’s total spectrum bank in Tamil Nadu to 65MHz, which is one of the largest among cellular network carriers in the state.

OnePlus India extends warranty of its products that are expiring during the lockdown to June 30

OnePlus India today announced that it is extending the warranty for its products to 30th June 2021 for those with an expiry date between 1st April and 29th June 2021. This comes after POCO, Xiaomi, OPPO and Sony announced that they are extending the warranty of their products. This is not the first time OnePlus is extending the warranty of its products. Government of India directs WhatsApp to withdraw new TOS and privacy policy

WhatsApp’s deadline for accepting their new Terms of Service (TOS) and Privacy Policy was 5 days ago on the May 15th. Now, the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has sent a letter to the Facebook-owned company to withdraw the update within 7 days, and failure to do so will prompt lawful measures.
