Samsung just announced the Galaxy A53 5G and A33 5G smartphones at its online event, as expected. Both the phones feature a FHD+ Super AMOLED screen, but the A53 as a 6.5″ Infinity-O 120Hz screen, and the A33 has a 6.4″ Infinity-U 90Hz screen. These are powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 1280 SoC.
The phones run Android 12 out of the box and will get four Android OS updates and 5 years of security updates. These have quad rear camera setup with 64MP main camera with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP depth and 5MP macro cameras in the A53 and the A33 features a 48MP main camera with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP depth and 5MP macro cameras.
These feature Ambient Edge design seamlessly blends the camera with the body of the phone, have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and have IP67 water and dust resistance. The phones pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, but don’t come with a charger in the box.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 and A33 5G come in Black, White, Peach and Blue colours.
The Galaxy A53 5G is priced at $449.99 (Rs. 34,160 approx.) / €449 (6+128 GB) and €509 (US$ 563 / Rs. 42,780 approx.) (8+256GB), and will roll out in several countries globally starting from April 1st.
The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is priced at €369 (US$ 408 / Rs. 31,000 approx.) for 6GB+128 GB and will roll out in several countries globally starting from April 22nd. No details about the India launch yet.
