Zync launches Z-990 7-inch tablet running Android 4.0 in India at Rs. 8,990

Zync, an Apple Group company from Noida, Uttar Pradesh has launched Zync Z-990, India’s first tablet that runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Zync Z-990 has 7-inch TFT Capacitive Touch Screen display and is powered by 1.2 GHz processor. It has 1GB RAM, 4GB in-built memory, which is expandable up to 32 GB. Nokia Asha 303 launched in India for Rs. 8899


Nokia has finally launched that Asha 303 in India. Nokia announced the Series 40 device at the Nokia World 2011 last year. It also comes with 1GB of free Vodafone 3G/2G data per month for 4 months. The Asha 303 is powered by a 1 GHz processor and has 3G capability. It has 2.6-inch (320 x 240 pixels) capacitive touch display and has a portrait QWERTY keyboard. Nokia to shut down mobile money business


Nokia to shut down their Mobile Money business including the Nokia Money, according to a report by The Hindu. Nokia announced the Nokia Money in 2009 and launched it in partnership with YES Bank in 2010. Later they launched it with Union Bank in 2011. They launched the Nokia Money service across India in December 2011 which is said to have 2 lakh subscribers in total with 1.2 million subscribers across all 3 platforms. MTNL to use common APN for both 3G and GSM networks


Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) has announced that they would use common Access Point Name (APN) for its GSM post paid and prepaid customers across Delhi and Mumbai. The Access Point Name is a configurable network identifier used by a mobile device when connecting to WAP/Web services, MMS or Internet services on GSM/3G networks.
