LG Optimus Pro and Optimus Net officially launched in India
LG India has officially launched 2 new Android phones, LG Optimus Pro and Optimus Net. These phones run on Android 2.3 and powered by 800 MHz CPU. The LG Optimus PRO has the combination of touch and QWERTY and features a unique Portrait Touch Screen that allows user to read and write up to 16 lines as compared to 8-10 lines in the normal screens. The QWERTY keypad with dedicated shortcuts will enable smartphone users to multitask. HTC Flyer 32GB , 3G version Price Drops to Rs.23900 !
When HTC launched the 3G+WiFi of it’s 7 inch Android tablet in India for Rs.39890 in June this year , we were immensely disappointed about the price tag. It was an impressive tablet with decent battery life. Now if you gave the Flyer a pass for the same reason, good news for you. The price of the tablet has been cut by almost 50%. Motorola RAZR launched in India at Rs. 33990
Motorola has officially launched the Motorola RAZR in India. The Motorola RAZR is the thinnest smartphone till date with 7.1 mm thickness, which is about 1.5mm slimmer than the previous slimmest smartphone the Samsung Galaxy S2. It it is made with KEVLAR fiber and features 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) Super AMOLED hyper-vibrant display and it is powered by 1.2 GHz dual core processor. Airtel Apple iPhone 4S Pricing 16GB – Rs.44500, 32GB – Rs.50900, 64GB – Rs.57500
While we got some news about the Apple iPhone 4S pricing from Aircel , we now have the pricing from Airtel. Its not looking very different.The 16GB model is about Rs.400 lesser than on Aircel and priced at Rs.44500.There is a 64GB option at Rs.57500. The 32GB model is priced exactly the same at Rs.50900. Looks like Airtel is taking pre-bookings online . Apple does not directly sell iPhones in India and operators actually procure them and sell it here. The iPhone 4 pricing at Rs.34500 was actually pretty decent. But the iPhone 4S pricing seems very high. There is also news that the iPhone 4 8GB version will cost Rs.37900 and the 3GS will cost Rs.20900. That looks like an increase in the cost of the iPhone 4 as well. We have just heard that the Apple iPhone 4S wont be coming for cheap in India. The price of the 16GB and 32GB variants on Aircel are out . The cheapest version of the iPhone 4S which is the 16GB version will come for Rs.44900 and the 32GB version will retail for a shocking Rs.50900. This information comes from a Nidhi Singal who walked into a Aircel store in the capital New Delhi and got this information. As you would know both Airtel and Aircel announced that they are launching the iPhone 4S in India . Both the operators are starting Pre-Orders from Nov 18 that is today and with this kind of pricing I’m not sure how many users would actually still think of getting one. LG Optimus 2X Gingerbread update to roll out this month in India
LG Optimus 2X would get the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) update this month says LG India in their Tweet. The LG Optimus 2X launched in India this April and it runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo). It was expected to be available in June or July but it got delayed. LG has officially confirmed earlier this week that the LG Optimus 3D would receive the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) along with lots of enhancements. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 is finally available for sale in India, according to our friends at Mahesh Telecom. Samsung launched their new Galaxy Tab 750 and 730 in India this August. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 750 went on sale starting this September. This has 8.9-inch (1280×800) TFT (PLS) display and runs on Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) OS. Sony Tablet S WiFi Version gets Priced in India
Sony India has revealed the price of it’s Android Honeycomb tablet the Tablet S on it’s website. As of now only the 16GB WiFi version seems to be on sale and there is no mention of the 3G version. The Sony Tablet S is already available in select Sony stores across the country. The MRP for this 9.4 inch Android tablet is Rs.29,990 according to the site. The device is powered by a Nvidia Tegra2 1 GHz processor along with 1 GB of RAM. Sony claims you can control your home devices using the Sony Tablet S as a universal remote.
