Intex Aqua Curve, the company’s upcoming Android smartphone has appeared on the official website. It has a 5-inch qHD  (960 × 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen curved display based on One-glass-Solution (OGS), powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support, similar to most of the other Intex smartphones. Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Benchmarks

Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 (G7102), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone last month, which went on sale in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the device. Samsung already confirmed that the phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor, as you can see from the CPU-Z shot above it is clear that phone has a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.19 GHz with Adreno 305 GPU, similar to the Motorola Moto G. Last year’s Galaxy Grand was powered by a dual-core Broadcom BCM28155 processor. It has a 5.25-inch (1280 x 720 Pixels) display and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top. Let’s find out how the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 performs in a range of synthetic benchmark tests. LG G Flex to roll out in European markets starting February

LG Electronics introduced the G Flex, the company’s first curved smartphone back in October, which went on sale in Korea in November. It  was launched Singapore and Hong Kong in December, now the company has announced that the phone would go on sale in more than 20 major European markets including U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, and Austria starting February 2014. The Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos was the first device from the Korean chaebol to land its foot it in the highly competitive mid range phablet market. It was a big success, at least in the Indian market, but now we have its successor, the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. With an upgraded spec sheet that includes a better display, better processor and the Note 3-esque faux leather back cover, the Grand 2 has caught our fancy, especially at the price of Rs. 22,999. Dell Venue 8 Pro launched in India for Rs. 26,499, availability starting February 2014

The Dell Venue 8 Pro, a 8 inch Windows 8.1 tablet that we reviewed earlier, has been officially launched in India by Dell for a price of Rs. 26,499 for the base 32 GB WiFi model. Powered by the Intel Atom Z3740D Bay Trail Quad Core processor running at 1.8 GHz, the Venue 8 Pro offers the full Windows experience, with surprisingly decent gaming performance to boot. One of the thinnest Windows tablets around, the Venue 8 Pro joins the Acer Iconia W4 in its foray into the increasingly crowded small tablet market, with the added advantage of a full fledged desktop operating system, made easier for touch.

Dell has launched Venue 7 and the  Venue 8 Android tablets in India. The Venue 7 has a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display and the Venue 8 has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels). Both these tablets are powered by a 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 Clover Trail+ processors and run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The Venue 7 has a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The Venue 8 has a 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing HD camera. Xolo Q1000 Opus gets a firmware update to fix camera bugs

Xolo launched the Q1000 Opus, the company’s first quad-core smartphone with a quad-core Broadcom chip in the Q CORE series last month. We reviewed the smartphone recently and found some bugs in the camera that crashes the camera often. Xolo has released a minor firmware update that fixes these issues. It also announced that the phone would be priced between Rs. 22900 and Rs. 24900.
