Xolo Q600s the company’s first budget smartphone running Android 4.4 (Kitkat) was launched last month. We brought you the unboxing of the smartphone recently, here we have the benchmarks of the device. It is powered by a quad-core Broadcom BCM 23550 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz per core with 312 MHz Videocore IV GPU. It has a 4.5-inch (960 ×540 pixels) qHD screen and 1GB of RAM. Oppo launched the Oppo R1 (R829), successor of last year’s Oppo R819 in India April in India priced at Rs. 26990. We brought you the unboxing and the benchmarks of the device recently, here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with Fujitsu ISP, 1/3.2″ Sony IMX179 sensor with pixel size of 1.4 microns, f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens and blue glass filter. It also has a single LED flash. Xolo launched the Q600s, the company’s first budget smartphone running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box last month, priced at Rs. 8,499. It has a 4.5-inch qHD display based on One Glass Solution (OGS), powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom processor and has 1GB of RAM. The iberry Auxus Linea L1 is a smartphone with a 4.5-inch display based on one-glass-solution technology, Corning Gorilla Glass protection and the Auxus AX04 phablet has a 7-inch IPS display with 16:9 aspect ratio. Asus is planning to launch the Zenfone series – Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 in India on July 9th, according to a report from The Times of India. These are the first smartphones from Asus that were announced at the CES 2014 earlier this year have 4, 5 and 6-inch displays. The Zenfone 4 has a 4-inch WVGA screen and the Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 have 5-inch and 6-inch HD displays, respectively. Idea Cellular has launched !d 4000, the company’s latest budget smartphone with 3G connectivity. It has a 3.5-inch HVGA display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera without flash. It has dual SIM support with dual standby, similar to other Idea phones and also comes with 3G connectivity. The looks like a minor upgrade compared to the Idea !d 1000 that was launched earlier this March, since only the camera and the battery have seen a change. With 26 million users, India has the second largest user base of LinkedIn behind the US. The largest professional social network said that India accounts for 8.6% of the global user base. In February, LinkedIn announced that it had 24 million users in India, which means the social network garnered about 2 million users in four months. The company also stated that more and more users are accessing the social network on their mobile.
