Rovio Stars released Tiny Thief, a puzzle game for Android, iPhone and iPad last year at $2.99. The game has received a new update that makes it free for both the Android and iOS platforms. Even though it is free to download, you can only play three episodes with 5 levels in each episode. You have to pay to play more episodes. ZeptoLab, the creators of popular Cut the Rope games has released Cut the Rope 2 for Android finally. It was released for iPhone and iPad back in December last year, and the company promised to release the game for Android in early 2014. In this new game, Om Nom breaks out of his box and travels through lush forests, busy cities, junkyards and underground tunnels for Candy. Gameloft has launched the official Captain America: The Winter Soldier mobile game as it promised last month. The game is available as a free download for Android that lets you play first 2 levels for free and has in-app purchase to unlock other levels at $2.99. The iOS app costs $2.99 directly. Rovio has just launched the RPG version of Angry birds in the form of Angry Birds Epic and now, they have tied hands with Raketspel to bring a fun word game with monsters – Word Monsters. Word Monsters tries to combine monsters with word search and this new fun filled gameplay allows you to play in a theme based word search or a timed game.

Angry Birds is a name you hear very often these days and sometime back, they launched a racing game – Angry Birds Go. Rovia has updated the Angry Birds Go racing game with new levels and new karts. In addition to new levels and karts, Angry Birds Go Sub Zero, as the expansion pack is called, gets a new winter chilly theme along with new currency.

Asphalt 8: Airborne for Android and iOS has received its second major update since the launch. The new update for these platforms adds six new tracks around Asian-inspired location, the Great Wall and four new cars. The new iOS update v1.3 also has Twitch integration to connect with the Asphalt community on Twitch.tv to broadcast your gameplay online. Last week, Rovio teased that they were introducing an Angry Birds themed RPG game and that it would be called Angry Birds Epic. Today, the game has gone live in App stores of countries like New Zealand, Australia and Canada. This is just a soft release and when the game is ready, it will be available for everybody across Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Microsoft Windows Store.

Earlier this year rumors about Amazon’s gaming console running Android surfaced. Today, Dave Zats spotted a gaming controller with Amazon branding at Brazilian cetification website, similar to FCC. It did not have any other details, but we can clearly see a layout, similar to the gaming controllers for Android. Gameloft games are also available to Idea subscribers through Gameloft Club, a weekly subscription service. These games are available for both Java and Android devices.
