Rovio, creators of popular Angry Birds game has launched Angry Birds Transformers for the iPhone and iPad, a day earlier than expected. The game was announced back in June. It would launch for the Android platform on 30th October. It has Autobirds, brave band of heroes that features Red as Optimus Prime, Chuck as Bumblebee and more. These have lasers and turn into cars. The Autobirds can’t save Piggy Island on their own – to stop the EggBots they’ll need to join forces with their arch rivals the Deceptihogs.

Huawei already announced that it would launched the Honor X1 tablet in India soon. Today the company launched the tablet in India. It is the same MediaPad X1 tablet that was announced earlier this year at the MWC. It has a 7-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s own Emotion UI on top. It packs a 5-inch HD IPS display with 68% screen-to-body ratio, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Huawei’s Emotion UI on top. It has dual SIM support, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Huawei has partnered with Flipkart to launch the smartphone. Celkon launched the Campus A35K, the company’s cheapest smartphone running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) and 3G support, back in June for Rs. 2999. It had 512MB of Internal storage, today the company has launched a variant of the smartphone with 2GB of internal storage. Other specifications of the smartphone are similar, including a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1GHz processor, 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Apple unveiled the iPhone 6 last month with 4.7 inch display in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants. The phone will go on sale in India on October 17th where the 16GB iPhone 6 model will cost INR 53,500 (about $870), while the 64GB variant and the 128GB option is priced at INR 62,500 (about $1,015) and INR 71,500 (about $1,160) respectively. IRCTC has finally launched the official app for Android called IRCTC Connect. Last year IRCTC app was launched for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 devices developed in partnership with Microsoft and it was launched by BlackBerry for BlackBerry 10 smartphones back in August.
