HTC has launched Desire 626 Dual SIM, a mid-range smartphone in the Desire series in India. Even though it has a 5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Desire 626 that was introduced last year, the dual-SIM variant that is launching in India is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 processor and has 2GB of RAM, instead of Snapdragon 410 SoC and 1GB of RAM. Canonical has partnered with Spanish OEM Bq to introduce Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition, which is the first commercial Ubuntu tablet and is also the first one to offer an Ubuntu convergent experience. “It can switch to an Ubuntu PC when connected with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, or when using the micro HDMI port to connect to an external monitor,” said the company. WhatsApp has increased its group limit from 100 to 256. The limit was increased from 50 to 100 back in November 2014. This new feature is currently available only in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android v2.12.429 or later, but it is expected to roll out for other users and platforms soon.
