Last week, we reported that newly launched Redmi Note 5 Pro had Low Volume output via Headphones issue, and Xiaomi quickly addressed the issue and rolled out MIUI 9.2.5.0 and updated security patch to February as well. Now, one of our readers tweeted saying that he is facing issue while playing some games on his Redmi Note 5 Pro, and phone was asking him to press R and L button on his gamepad while playing Modern Combat 5 and Sniper Fury but gamepad was not connected to the phone. Sony Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus Android 8.0 Oreo update starts rolling out in India

Sony Mobile launched Xperia R1 and Xperia R1 Plus, two new mid-range smartphones exclusively in India last October running Android 7.1 (Nougat), and the company at the launch said that the phones will be upgraded to Android 8.0 (Oreo). Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro low headphone volume issue fix starts rolling out

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India on 14th February, and released the OTA for enabling face unlock in last week of February. Earlier this week we came across posts on Mi Community in which users reported the Low sound output from headphones issue for the newly launched Redmi Note 5 Pro. Moderators on Mi Community India responded to these posts and asked users to provide buglogs for the issue. Xiaomi quickly addressed the issue and started rolling out a bug fix update this evening. HTC U Ultra Android 8.0 Oreo update starts rolling out

HTC was one of the first OEMs to confirm Android 8.0 (Oreo) update for some of its top-end devices. After rolling out Android Oreo update for the HTC U11 and HTC 10 smartphones, the company has started rolling out Android 8.0 (Oreo) update for the U Ultra smartphone starting from Taiwan. Some users are also reporting that the update is available in India as well. The changelog is simple that mentions Android 8.0 (Oreo) update and system enhancements.

Xiaomi surpasses Samsung in the largest smartphone market in India in Q4 2017: CMR

Xiaomi has surpassed Samsung in the largest smartphone market in India in the Q4 2017 to become the number one brand, according to a report from Cybermedia Research. Xiaomi outshined Samsung in Maharashtra which alone amounted to 13.7% of the sales during the last quarter of 2017. According to CMR, Xiaomi sold over 31.2% of the Smartphones during the period compared to Samsung which sold 15.3%.
