LG has launched Ice Cream Smart (LG-F440L), the company’s latest Android flip phone in Korea. It has a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera without flash and a VGA front-facing camera. It comes with 4G connectivity with VoLTE. It released Wine Smart flip phone last year, and this comes with a similar T9 keypad, a dedicated key to launch Kakao Talk messenger and a powerful 1W speaker. Xiaomi Mi 3 will go on sale for the last time in India on Jan 26 ahead of Mi 4 launch

Xiaomi launched the Mi 3 smartphone in India back in July. It temporarily discontinued the smartphone in August, but it brought back the smartphone during Diwali in limited quantities for those who tried to buy the smartphone and failed earlier. When everyone thought the Mi 3 would not be available anymore in India since it permanently discontinued the smartphone, it is bringing back the Mi 3 for the last time on January 26th. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Benchmarks

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G went on sale in India last month for Rs. 9.999. We brought you the battery test results of the smartphone recently, here are the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8228) processor clocked at 1.59 GHz per core and has Adreno 305 GPU, similar to the Redmi 1S. It has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 2GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with MIUI v5 on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below.

It is also rolling out Lollipop update for the Moto G (2nd Gen) in the US and for both the Moto G variants in Brazil. The Lollipop update brings all-new material design, better touch screen interactions, quick notifications on the lock screen and more. Micromax’s YU has announced that it sold 15,000 units of Yureka smartphones in just 4 seconds in its second flash sale on Amazon.in. In the first sale 10,000 units sold out in 3 seconds. The website did not crash after the sale opened, like the first sale. Some managed to order the smartphone, but most users couldn’t get the smartphone and were added to the waitlist, which didn’t open up. Now the smartphone has received price cut of Rs. 5,000 and is available for Rs. 12,999 from Flipkart. The YotaPhone has a 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) LCD multi-touch main screen and a 4.3-inch (360×640 pixels) E-Ink rear screen. LG unveiled the G Flex 2 smartphone, the second phone in the G Flex series at the CES earlier this month. It went on pre-order in Germany last week, today LG has announced that the G Flex 2 would launch in Korea on January 30th. Created by Collabora engineers, this is a Open Source app for smartphones and tablets that lets you view documents, spreadsheets, and basic presentations in Open Document and Microsoft Office formats. Micromax’s YU plans to sell 15,000 units of YUREKA smartphones on its second flash sale today, January 22nd at 2PM on Amazon.in The company received over three lakh registrations for the first sale, and it sold 10,000 units in just 3 seconds. It did not reveal the number of people registered for the second sale. In the second round of YUREKA sale today, the consumers who had registered to buy YUREKA before 13th January, will remain pre-registered and can take part in the sale just the same as last time, said the company.
