Xiaomi just announced the Redmi Note 2 smartphone at its MIUI 7 event, as expected. It packs a  5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display, is powered by a octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus of just 0.1 second. It also has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a Magnesium alloy frame and is 8.25mm thick.

Philips has launched Xenium I908, a mid-range smartphone and the S309, a budget smartphone in India. The Philips I908 appeared on the official Philips India website last year and packs a 5-inch 1080p screen, 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Philips S309 has a 4-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.

Lenovo K3 Note vs Xiaomi Mi 4i

We already brought you the hands-on impressions, unboxing and the photo gallery of the smartphone, here we have its benchmarks. It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor with 8 ARM Cortex-A7 CPUs clocked at 1.36 GHz per core and Mali 450-MP4 GPU.
