Google Android One expands to Africa, Infinix Hot 2 smartphone launched in 6 African countries

Google has expanded its Android One program to Africa. It has partnered with hardware manufacturer Infinix to launch Infinix Hot 2 Android One smartphone in 6 African countries – Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco and Nigeria. Android One was launched in India first and got expanded to Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines, Turkey, Myanmar, Pakistan and Thailand. Check out the complete specifications of the new Android One smartphone below.

The Infinix Hot 2 X510 comes in White, Black, Red, Blue colors, is priced at N17,500 (US$ 87 / Rs. 5,750 approx.) for the 1GB RAM version and N19,500 (US$ 98 / Rs. 6,400 approx.) for the 2GB RAM version in Gold color in Nigeria, which is available through select retail outlets and via online retailer Jumia. It’s also available from Jumia in Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, and Morocco.
