Gionee has launched F103, the company’s latest smartphone in the new fashion and lifestyle F Series in India. It packs a 5-inch HD IPS display, is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Amigo UI 3.1. It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It is just 7.9mm thick, features mirror glass back and a metal frame. Google Maps for Android has received an update that brings improvement to the navigation UI. The latest update that bumps the Maps to version 9.14 brings a revamped UI just a week after it added businesses and Street view thumbnails.
HTC has updated its Zoe app, that lets users create, share, and remix “professional quality highlight videos” on Android devices 4.4 or later, with new features and improvements. The latest update 2.0 that is available at Play Store includes a new smart trim feature and longer clips.

Google has finally launched Android Wear app for iOS, so that Android Wear smartwatches will now work with Apple iPhone 5 or above (with iOS 8.2 or later). Once paired, it offers alerts for calls, messages and notifications and syncs you fitness data, but it currently doesn’t have support for third-party apps and integrates only with Google Apps like Google Search, Calendar and Gmail. It supports third-party watch faces though, unlike Apple Watch. It also lets you use ‘Ok Google’ voice commands to set Google Now reminders, open the Weather app, set timers, and more. Samsung Galaxy J1 Ace (J110H), the latest budget smartphone from the company that was surfaced earlier today is now on sale in India from offline retailers. It has a 4.3-inch (480 x 800 pixels) Super AMOLED display that you rarely get in budget smartphones, but it has 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which might not attract the buyers. Samsung is all set to launch Galaxy J1 ACE (J110H), its new budget smartphone in India soon, according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom. The smartphone already surfaced on User Agent Profile that revealed a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, quad-core Marvell PXA1908 SoC and 4G LTE support.
