MTS launches festive offers, MBlaze Ultra dongle gets 33% price cut

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that provides telecom services under MTS has launched GB Festival for this festive season. Under this offer, postpaid data customers can get new data customers can now buy an MBlaze Ultra WiFi dongle for just Rs. 999 instead of Rs. 1499. This comes with 40GB of data. New prepaid customers need to pay just Rs 1749 instead of Rs. 2299 for MBlaze Ultra Wi-fi dongle along with 10 GB data. MTS has also introduced new monthly usage plans across categories.

Idea Cellular has launched Idea Magna and Magna L, two new Android KitKat smartphones with 3G connectivity in India. The Idea Magna has a 4-inch display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, while the Magna L has a 4.5-inch display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. Both these smartphones have a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. These have Dual SIM support. Other details are not available yet. Apple teams up with T-Mobile in the US and EE in the UK for Wi-Fi calling

T-Mobile will offer Wi-Fi calling on the newly launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in the US while EE will provide the same in the UK. The popular US and UK carriers will be the first one to partner Apple for this feature that will allow users to make phone calls using a Wi-Fi network.
