Vodafone RED postpaid all-in-one plans with voice, data and SMS launched

Vodafone India has launched Vodafone RED, all-in-one plans exclusively for its postpaid retail and enterprise customers. This eliminates the need for multiple rentals for voice and data, since it comes with voice, data and SMS benefits. The Vodafone RED plans are available starting from Rs. 499 and the Vodafone RED4Business plans are available from Rs. 666. The Vodafone RED4Business is segmented into two user groups of IOIP (Individual Owned Individual Paid) and COCP (Corporate Owned Corporate Paid). Benefits vary depending on the plan. AT&T will also carry HTC One (M8) for Windows in the US

HTC officially unveiled its One (M8) for Windows about 24 hours ago. Back at the announcement, the device was said to be limited to Verizon Wireless. However, it looks like the carrier’s exclusivity will not last long as AT&T has announced that the Windows version of the One (M8) will soon be available on its network. HTC has just announced the rumored HTC One (M8) for Windows smartphone running Windows Phone 8.1.1 with Cortana. It has exactly the same design and specifications as the HTC One (M8), including a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Duo camera setup with a primary UltraPixel camera, secondary rear camera to capture depth information and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with wide-angle lens.

Aircel launches 4G LTE services in Tamil Nadu and Jammu & Kashmir

Aircel has launched its 4G services in Tamil Nadu and Jammu & Kashmir. It becomes the first company to provide 2G, 3G and 4G services in these two circles. Last month Aircel launched its 4G LTE services in four circles – Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar and Odisha. Other than these circles, Aircel holds 20MHz of spectrum in the 4G LTE 2300 MHz band in West Bengal and North East. Idea Cellular has launched, Idea Ultra+ and Idea FAB, two new Android smartphones. The Ultra+ has a 5-inch FWVGA screen, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The Idea FAB has a 4-inch display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.

Airtel has launched 4G services in Nashik, Maharashtra. The company launched 4G services in Pune, Maharashtra in 2012. It launched 4G services in Nagpur last week. Nashik is the 15th city in the country to get Airtel 4G. Customers in Nashik can access 4G on dongles and Wi-Fi CPEs (Customer Premise Equipment/ routers), but the company has not launched 4G on mobile in the city yet. Airtel reaches 300 million customers

Airtel today announced that it has cross 300 million customers across its operations globally. This includes, mobile, fixed line & DSL, and DTH services. Earlier this year the company crossed 200 million mobile subscriber mark in India. Since it began its operation in 1995, Airtel reach 100 million customers mark in 2009 and crossed the 200 million mark in 2012. It has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support, similar to other Canvas smartphones.
