Sony Xperia J up for pre-order in India for Rs. 16490


Sony Xperia J is now available for pre-order in India from online retailer Flipkart. It was announced in Augustat IFA 2012 in Berlin.  The Xperia J has a 4.0-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with gorilla glass protection, 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM7227A processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), which is upgradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Nokia Lumia 510 with 4-inch display, 5MP camera, Windows Phone 7.5 announced in India, coming this Diwali

Nokia has announced the Lumia 510 in India. It comes with a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 800 MHz  Snapdragon S1 Processor and would come with a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera. It runs on Windows Phone 7.5 OS which is upgradable to Windows Phone 7.8 in future. Other features would be similar to the Nokia Lumia 610. It would let the users to access to social networks, which includes Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.  It also comes with 3 months unlimited Nokia Music and Mix Radio.

LG Optimus Vu launched in India for Rs. 34500

LG has launched the Optimus Vu (P895) in India for Rs. 34500 (MRP). LG India revealed the price of the device on their website last week. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has a 5-inch (1024 × 768 Pixels) IPS Display with 4:3 Aspect Ratio and has a 8 Megapixel camera at the back with LED flash, 1080p HD video recording and a 1.3 Megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. LG Optimus Vu gets priced at Rs. 34,500 on LG India website

We already told you back in July that the LG Optimus Vu would launch in India within this year. Now, the LG Optimus Vu has been priced at Rs. 34,500 on LG India’s website, which would officially launch next week. LG announced the Optimus Vu at MWC 2012 earlier this February that packed in a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon Processor, but they announced in August that the Vu would launch in global markets with a 1.5 GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor and Android 4.0 out of the box. Qualcomm Snapdragon demos at IQ India 2012


At the Innovation Qualcomm India 2012 Qualcomm demoed Snapdragon S4-powered devices such as Smartphones and Tablets. These features range from Audio, Camera, WiFi displays and more. They also demoed AllJoyn technology that enables ad hoc, proximity-based device-to-device communication for local Multi-player gaming and apps.

Airtel launches 4G LTE services in Pune


Airtel has launched their 4G LTE services in Pune, followed by Kolkata and Bengaluru. Airtel has also reduced the price of the LTE CPE and dongles, the Indoor CPE with Wi-Fi and the 4G Multi Mode Dongle, that are now available for Rs. 4999 each. Airtel has also announced the availability and free trial offer of Airtel Broadband TV and Games On-Demand for their 4G LTE customers. They have introduced cash back offers for post-paid customers. Huawei Ascend P1 LTE launched in India on Airtel

Huawei has launched the Ascend P1 LTE, the first LTE smartphone in India, in partnership with Airtel at the Innovation Qualcomm India 2012 event. It would run on Airtel’s LTE-TDD network that was first launched in Kolkatta earlier this April. The Huawei Ascend P1 LTE has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD (960 x 540 pixels) display with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla glass protection and is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with Adreno 225 GPU.
